Care Information

Caring for your Indigo Rose Collective products is easy but very important so that you get the best out of your pieces.

When not being worn, please store your Indigo Rose Collective jewellery in a dry place out of direct sunlight or extreme temperatures and do not leave them in your car. Where possible store your pieces hanging, especially the dangles and tassel pieces.

Some Indigo Rose Collective pieces contain delicate and fragile components so please be careful not to drop them, place in pockets or leave loose in handbags or toiletry bags.

Tassels can be lightly ironed with a warm (not hot) iron on a synthetic setting sandwiched between fabric while ironing. If the iron is too hot the tassels may melt. Which would be disastrous and a bit messy.

Avoid wearing your Indigo Rose Collective jewellery when applying hairspray, perfume, makeup, sun cream and deodorant. We recommend leaving your Indigo Rose Collective creations off until you are ready to add the finishing touches to your outfit.

Remove your Indigo Rose Collective pieces before swimming and showering.

All posts are made from Hypoallergenic Surgical Steel and all gold and silver hooks are nickel free and hypoallergenic.

Polymer clay

Try not to bend and flex the clay when you are removing studs from the jewellery card or your ears.

To clean polymer clay simply use a soft damp cloth and gently wipe. Don’t saturate with water. You can also use a soft bristled toothbrush to remove dirt and dust.

Do not use chemical cleaners or nail polish remover to clean.

Acrylic

Use a microfiber cloth (the kind you get with a pair of glasses) to remove dust, fingerprints and makeup. Make sure your cloth is clean and dust free and buff lightly to avoid scratches.

Wooden pieces

Best cleaned using a soft cloth or a damp cloth and mild soap, dab slightly with and wipe dry. Please do not saturate with water.  

Do not use chemical cleaners or nail polish remover to clean.
